Tamara & Takuya Iwanaga

MARRIED 19 FEBRUARY 2016

If you were going to try and measure love by seeing it in other people, then you'd most definitely measure it against Tamara & Takuya, or as we know them, Tammy and Taku!

When we first met with Tammy & Taku, we knew straight away that, not only were we going to get to share in an extremely beautiful wedding, but we were also going to make some truly wonderful friends, and we weren't wrong.

Tammy asked us to give them amazing photos, that they could cherish for a lifetime, and we absolutely obliged. We couldn't imagine when we first met them that we'd be presented with such as beautiful a connection as the one we saw on their wedding day.

Tammy & Taku arrived at 'My Heart Garden' full of smiles, and a little nervousness, but ultimately they brought such love in their hearts for each other, and that shone through in their ceremony. Their celebrant, Michelle Bolitho, welcomed us all into her picturesque garden to see Tammy & Taku tie the knot and declare to their friends, family and the world that they were truly meant to be together for eternity. Vows were exchanged, along with some absolutely beautiful rings, and just enough time for a quick toast and signing of the marriage register, before it was time to head off with the newly weds for some intimate location photos.

We headed to the National Museum of Australia, to get some stunning and truly magical photos of the love birds, just enjoying moments of true togetherness. We really didn't have to venture too far to capture some precious memories, as their feelings for each other were visible in every photo we took.

Once we'd finished with getting some beautiful location photos, it was time for Tammy & Taku to head to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cultural Centre, where they were having their reception, and we headed off for a break. We reconvened back at the ATSIC Centre a little later in the evening to capture Tammy & Taku spending time with their friends and family...and the highlights were the 'Shoe' game, and Tammy tossing her bouquet.

The entire day was so special, and we wish Tammy & Taku the very best and most loving future together!
