Once in a lifetime, two people meet who are meant to be together, and this is certainly the case with Rebecca & Colin. The love they share together and have for each other, you would definitely think it was a match made in heaven.
When we met with Rebecca & Colin for the first time prior to their wedding, we instantly knew it was going to be the most amazing love story, and we certainly were not disappointed. Their ideas behind their whole wedding day were so different, we couldn't help but fall in love with their quirky yet laid back approach for what they wanted to do.
Rebecca & Colin met 2 years ago, in the same workplace, where Colin's first day on the job was in fact a Public Holiday. Fast Forward to November 2014, Rebecca & Colin get engaged down in picturesque Jervis Bay, which they visit quite a bit as it is their favourite place to spend time together.
Rebecca's favourite trait of Colin's is his quirky yet unique approach to life, whereas Colin's favourite trait of Rebecca's is her determination....oh, and her ability to recall every species of bird from a holiday location.
We started at The Old Parliament House Rose Gardens for Rebecca & Colin's 'First Look', prior to their wedding ceremonies, to spend some time together just as a couple, and with their bridal party. We had a fantastic time, and managed to get some 'Blue Steel' looks amongst the other stunning images in and around the rose gardens.
Once all the fun and laughter had died down, we headed over to Yarralumla, where Rebecca & Colin were to be married, first with their official ceremony, with just a select number of close friends and family, followed by their confirmation ceremony, where they exchanged vows and rings, both ceremonies just as beautiful and heart felt as each other.
The cutting of the cake followed the loving ceremonies, which as you can see was absolutely stunning...it tasted pretty good too. A few drinks and laughs were had, before the newly married couple and their guests sat down to a wonderful meal, and some quality time together.
