Jo-Anne & Steve Davidson

MARRIED 26 MARCH 2016

When we first met with Jo many months ago to discuss her wedding, we didn't really know just how much she and Steve were in love, but we sure found out on their wedding day, and we knew it was a match made in heaven!

Jo & Steve met on an internet dating site. Now, some might say that you can't find love on that way, but Steve did exactly that from the moment he met Jo. The first thing he noticed when they met in person was Jo's eyes, and it was Steve's captivating smile that made Jo's heart melt. Jo recalls the time when Steve proposed to her, as Steve took her out for a birthday dinner, but as it turned out, it was much more than that. Steve was extremely excited that Jo said yes, when he popped the question.

Both Jo & Steve are very family oriented, and have the most beautiful family anyone could ever ask for, and this is one big reason that both Jo & Steve love each other very much. Jo is always happiest when Steve is home on weekends with her and their beautiful kids, being the family man, and Steve shares this same feeling.

As much as Jo & Steve are both family people, they do also have a fun and quirky side to them, which has given them many cherished memories together. Jo has fond memories of when Steve acts silly and tries to make her laugh, and Steve always enjoys when Jo tries to win an argument. They both also share a love of Dirty Dancing, the movie...which is why Steve calls Jo 'Baby'.

Jo has a very strong memory of Steve that will always keep them close. There was a time when their youngest daughter, Ella, was in the NeoNatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), which for any family is a daunting and testing experience. Steve remained strong throughout that time, and ensured that he was strong for Jo and his family...a true testament to a very loving, and caring family man.

We were treated with lots of laughter and silliness when we arrived to Jo's house on the morning of her special day...and the vibe in the room was very contagious. We ourselves were in fits of laughter, enjoying some silly jokes with Jo, her bridesmaids, her beautiful daughters, and her family. Once all the laughs died down, we spent some time capturing Jo in all her beauty, and as you can see, we did exactly that.

Arriving at the boy's location, they were very relaxed, and ready for what the day was going to bring. They all bounced off each other, which resulted in some fun shots of them together.

Jo looked incredibly beautiful as she walked down the aisle at the stunning Margaret Whitlam Pavilion, at the National Arboretum, and the weather was just fantastic...it was fate. Jo had a tear in her eye as she met her husband to be, waiting patiently for Jo to arrive. Jo & Steve proclaimed their undying love for each other, and all their friends and family were part of an absolutely beautiful ceremony.

Once the ceremony concluded, we captured their friends and family in some fun and relaxed photos, and we then whisked the newly weds and their bridal party away for even more fun.

We ventured up to Dairy Farmer's Hill to get some stunning shots of Jo & Steve overlooking some of Canberra's most iconic locations, and we were even treated to a skywriter at the same time! We then headed over to the gorgeous, old Mt Stromlo Observatory, which was devastated in the January 2003 fires. This left some very photogenic structures, which allowed us to capture some special moments with everyone.

We also headed over to the National Gallery of Australia, to one of our most favourite photo locations, James Tyrrell's Skyspace. We spent some time there and got some stunning shots of Jo & Steve, along with some fun shots of everyone.

Then it was off to the reception at the Canberra Southern Cross Club in Woden, where the Top of The Cross room was decked out in some great colours and beautiful decorations.

We were truly honoured to be part of such a special day, and we wish Jo & Steve every happiness in the world!!

Congratulations Jo & Steve!!
