Jess & Andy both knew from the moment they met that there was something special about each other. Andy thought Jess was absolutely stunning, and Jess thought Andy was pretty hot too. As they got to know each other, Andy found that Jess was very easy to get along with, and always made him smile when he was sad. Jess found Andy to be funny, caring and sensitive (even when he tries not to be), and he always has the best interests of everyone around him at heart.
They have officially been a couple since the beginning of February 2013 and they have had far too much fun together, including sharing their love for partying hard, and taking birthday gag gifts to a whole new level - so much so that they each own items of clothing with each other's faces on them. They enjoy spontaneous trips to places such as Fitzroy Falls or Las Vegas, and they have both gone sky-diving - a memory Jess has come to love, even though she screamed through the whole event.
Their engagement story speaks volumes to their personalities, and the love they share: two days before Jess' birthday, three days before they picked up the keys to their first home, Andy said he had to work out of town for the night. Jess was invited for drinks at the Hyatt by her best friend. They parked around the back but rather than go in, her friend walked off into the darkness calling for her to follow. They walked passed some signs that made Jess think she was about to ruin someone's proposal. She said that they should turn back, but her friend just laughed and said to keep going. Lo and behold, Andy was waiting at the end of the path on one knee! It's a memory Jess will never forget...
On their wedding day, they spent a lazy morning at their parents' homes getting ready. Each gave the other rather special gifts before they met to be married at Magna Carta Place. They then spent a few glorious hours in different locations around Lake Burley Griffin, before celebrating with their family and friends at the EQ Café in Deakin.
