What started just as friends quickly progressed to something more. These two quickly became "just friends", building a connection into something they couldn't explain. A bond unlike that of any other had experienced before. Being able to relate and connect on a deep and personal level, bringing joy and laughter never felt before.

Between them both they have favourite memories, for Aleia it was watching Dylan become a father not once but twice. A memory they will both cherish and hold deep in their hearts. Dylan's memories center around their coast trips together, which is also one of their favourite travel locations. Coastline escapades, with sun-kissed skin and salty hair, became their cherished tradition.

And on occasion, a drive to KFC. Lets be honest... Who doesn't love some chicken coated in the eleven secret herbs and spices? And just like the secret to KFC's chicken, the secret to a good marriage? No one knows, just as long as it has a special spice and you enjoy it. What else do you need?

But Aleia had a surprise in store. Breaking away from tradition, she planned a unique proposal. With the help of her friend Ruby, she transformed a small one bedroom apartment into a magical space filled with 200 balloons, each one a symbol of their shared memories. As Dylan stepped into the room, he was greeted by a breathtaking sight and a life-changing question.
