Aftan & Andronikos Delly
MARRIED 21 NOVEMBER 2020
Back in 2006, when things were very different to what they are now, instead of going to a bar to meet someone, you could do it just by winking across the hallway to a cute girl who lived on your floor. Andronikos (Nick) was one such fellow and Aftan liked that he struck up a conversation at the time, and they have been together ever since!
The two fell in love because they both enjoyed each other’s company, but mostly because Nick would cook dinner for Aftan and dessert as well which was so yummy and he called her his princess.
There have been many amazing memories in the 14 years they’ve spent together so far, but far too many awesome ones comes from their trip to Thailand!
Firstly, their funniest moment which is when they both got food poisoning and, according to them, spent the next few days like scenes from the film Bridesmaids. Secondly, it’s where Nick proposed to Aftan! You can just imagine how romantic it was on a beautiful beach, at sunset, with him proclaiming his love for her!
On their wedding day, we spent a little time with each of them at their respective places before joining them at the St Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church after which we spent a small time out at the National Gallery before heading to the Rydges for their reception.
