Picture this: you’re walking down a beach, it’s Venice Beach. No, not the one in Venice, the one in America! It’s a crazy gorgeous sunny afternoon, causing those amazing long shadows that you love so much, the warmth of the sun feeling amazing on your skin, and you’re not just taking it all in while you’re walking, you’re doing it all while holding your partner’s hand in yours. It’s a feeling a true bliss and with this feeling, you feel like you can conquer the world together!
Samii & Sam first met in 2014 and couldn’t take their eyes off each other! They haven’t been able to do so since either! They spent many a night texting each other while courting, and grew closer and closer because of it.
Sam loves Samii’s kind nature, how she supports him in everything he does and chooses to be, and he absolutely adores how much Samii loves a cheat meal! ;) Samii loves how Sam loves her even when he is cranky at her and when she is emotional. She loves that he loves her for who she is and, fo course, she LOVE those muscles he has!
They are a couple who care just as much about each other as they do the gym, and it clearly shows - especially when planning holidays becomes more about whether the hotel will have an adequate gym or not, rather than the amazing exotic location they would be in!
Their shared love for adventure has taken them to many amazing places including the American holiday we reference earlier! And it was meant to take them and some very special family and friends of theirs (as well as some awesome photographers!) to Fiji for their wedding, but 2020 changed all that. So instead, they chose to ditch those plans, and just get married here, allowing even more of their closest friends and family to attend in person!
Sam planned his proposal to Samii almost to perfection! It was a walk on the beach the day after they had both attended a friend’s wedding, so they were all loved up and ready to celebrate life! But Sam’s plans could very well have been dashed as Samii may have had way too much fun partying the night before. Had Sam not forced Samii to go for the walk, it may not have happened the way he had planned it in his mind!
On their wedding day, as much as it wasn’t in Fiji, it was still the most beautiful day ever. Their whole day was out at the Gininnderry Homestead, making it easy for us to spend extra time with them during their preparation all the way through to their reception.
