Raeanne & Robert Richards

MARRIED 4 SEPTEMBER 2022

This was a relationship that started online, but only lasted a few days before they met in person, and that was it!  Raeanne (Ree) and Robert (Bob) practically knew instantly that once they had met, they were exactly who the other was looking for.  This was back in 2019, right before COVID-19 hit.

They’ve since spent as much time together as they can, and relationships that do that tend to be the ones that last.

Since meeting, they’ve made it through a global pandemic, and managed to travel to some amazing places including Canada & Japan. They both love the snow so much, and snow-sports specifically, that any place with snow is the place they’ll travel to for their holidays.

Mind you, one of the funniest moments they’ve shared during their time together is the time when Ree’s car rolled down the hill (she hadn’t parked it quite right and gravity did the rest). Bob, not wanting to let Ree have all the fun, decided to leave the lawn mower for a second or two, and it too rolled down the hill the following day.

To be fair, as new parents to Jameson, their amazingly cute little boy, their most favourite memory is around the day he was brought into this world - something all new parents cherish. And second to that is the memory of how Bob proposed to Ree. It all happened during a hike up Mt Koszuisko, with its stunning views as their backdrop, prompting them to elope in a very similar spot on the mountain as COVID got in the road of their wedding ceremony plans for their original date. They still kept those plans and their big celebration was held roughy a year afterwards on the beautiful grounds of the Lake Crackenback Resort. Photos of that day can be found below…
