Normally, on Christmas morning, we wake up and race to the Christmas tree as soon as we wake up and rip open our presents. Well, to be fair, that’s what we do when we’re young. When we get a little older, the fun has sometimes worn off and our kids become the ones racing to the tree.
Well, it was a fateful Christmas morning in 2016 when Natalie found herself bombarded by her son, mid way getting changed to join everyone under the tree. As soon as he had raced in, he announced, “Here’s your Christmas present mummy!” and handed her a cardboard box while he kept the other box to himself. He then opened the box towards himself and exclaimed “Oooh look, Mummy, a ring!” With shock, Natalie whipped around and said “Hang on - what? A ring? Is that the kind of ring I think it is?” Meanwhile Josh was down on his knee…
Now, after 12 years of a relationship, and two beautiful children, I think we all know what Natalie’s answer was going to be!
Natalie & Josh first met back in 2007, when times were very different, and children were definitely not on the radar! they quickly fell in love with each other’s personalities for the simple fact that they make each other laugh and can bring each other up. They have since spent forever supporting each other through thick and thin, making for a formidable couple and amazing family.
Over the years, they have made many many memories, including one very memorable trip to Fiji, and they simply wouldn’t want to be with anyone else other than each other, just laughing the days away, letting their hair down, etc.
On their wedding day, we joined them on their property, for a fun-filled day that was all about themselves, and their family, making for a truly memorable celebration. Here is a few of the many we captured on their day…
