There are some stories that just stick - some that are so special, they are worth telling the world about it! Stories like marrying your childhood sweetheart when you lived in the same apartment complex (for those who know our illustrious Director well enough, they’ll get that reference). And Stories like the one Lauren & Callum will tell their children for years to come - of how they finally reunited after being born only two days apart from each other.

Imagine spending your entire life searching for the one you were destined to meet. Imagine going through your life searching and finding nothing that really gets you going. And then you turn to Tinder, and you meet this really cute, very sexy person. You go on the first date together, and everything about it was different. You decide to get to know this person even further, and during your time together, you eventually ask personal questions, like what’s your birthday. And it turns out you are born two days apart from each other!

They have been to amazing places such as Thailand & Singapore. And they have both been there for each other through some of the toughest parts of their lives, including the death of Lauren’s father just 3 months into their relationship. It was at that point that they both realised this was something far more than just a fling.

They moved in together, and started having to purchase household items, as we all do when we move in together. One of their favourite memories of each other is the decision they made to buy a toaster. It had to have enough space for them both to make toast at the same time, but also had to fit slices of sourdough. They spent forever choosing the first one, only to take it home, plug it and realise it didn’t fir the sourdough slice. They returned it for another one, which was the next best option, to take it home and still find out it didn’t fit the sourdough slice! They still laugh about that to this day.

Their relationship grew and grew until we first met them at the beautiful wedding of Jenni & Daniel Drew back in 2018. From there, it blossomed even further until Callum finally proposed to Lauren on the day between their birthdays, 25 Feb 2019. They were on a cruise together to Phillip Island. Callum went down on one knee on a cliff lookout over Bass Strait. I think we all know what Lauren’s response was!

Their wedding day was moved due to covid, not once but twice, but they were finally able to get there, and it was beautiful. Here is just a snapshot of their day. There are many more images yet to be delivered…
