So this one is a story very close to our hearts because we’ve known about these guys almost as long as they’ve known each other! Our connection is through the amazing Ryan David Music, who is one of the very best musicians on the planet. He calls Canberra home, and we are so lucky to have him here! He is available for all sorts of events, but mostly plays weddings, where we first met him years ago.
At a wedding fair in early 2019, Ryan introduced Kristin to us, and we could tell the connection they shared was so true and amazing. Little did we know, they had only met perhaps two weeks prior to that wedding fair! Where they met was so cute - in line at church, via Ted Bundy. Those who know, will understand. ;) They marked the date they met thanks to the Ted Bundy connection, 24 Feb, which has since become a very special day for them both.
They fell in love because they both loved each others' personalities, humour, values, kindness, empathy and also thought each other was pretty damn cute! (Their words! ;) ) But we can tell just how much of that is true. They are so meant to be together, almost as if someone made them for each other, and allowed for their chance meeting to occur.
Thanks to all this nonsense with the pandemic, they haven’t yet travelled much anywhere, so we haven’t got any gossip on that, but they did say the proposal and the night that followed is right up there in terms of amazing memories together.
It was 24 Feb 2020, exactly a year from the day they first met. Ryan took Kristin into the Cork Forest within the National Arboretum for a beautiful stroll together, and during the walk, he found the perfect place and moment to drop down to one knee and ask the question he’d been dying to ask her!
Their wedding day was absolutely perfect for them - a beautiful garden ceremony at the Grazing in Gundaroo, then a few photos of the two them followed by an amazing dinner there as well. Here is a little look at how their day went.
