Katie & Zac have known each other quite some time now, having met back when they were in high school together. When they were in Year 11, they started “going out” on a two week trip around Australia’s Outback and they quite literally haven’t looked back since. It’s now been 8 years since they first started dating, and they’re still going strong! Just goes to show that you can meet the love of your life early and know it’s the real deal!

Katie fell in love because Zac makes her laugh almost every single day, but he is also so kind a generous and caring. And for Zac, it was because she lights up his heart every time she walked into the room. And that hasn’t changed in 8 years!

Zac wanted to do something a little different when he proposed, back in 2016, and decided that on Christmas morning, after all the presents had been opened, that he’d propose right then and there, right in front of Katie’s family! It was unorthodox, but it worked, as Katie said yes almost instantaneously! Her family thought it was pretty sweet as well that they could all be involved.

Having travelled to Peru and many other overseas destinations, they find the best of times is simply sitting back on the couch and enjoying the quiet times together, perhaps watching a little Netflix with takeaway. But they both agree that it doesn’t matter where they are, so long as they’re in each other’s arms, that is quite simply heaven.

On their wedding day, we started at Hotel Realm, with a few shots of boys and girls getting ready, and even a cheeky shot or two! Then once they had made it official, we whisked them away to the Pialligo Redwood Forest followed by some last minute shots down by the ale as the sun set. We then partied away the night back at Hotel Realm.
