Sara & Max Gancarz
MARRIED 27 AUGUST 2016
You know you've witnessed something truly special when you meet two people who are so in love that they can't stop grinning at each other all the way down the aisle. You could not imagine a more beautiful, happy and fun-filled ceremony than what we were privileged to share with Sara & Max.
Sara & Max first met in high school, about 11 years ago, and they remained high school sweethearts after they graduated. You might even say that as they grew up, they grew with each other. To this day, their love and fun-loving nature still blossoms.
Max never takes life too seriously, so much so that when he proposed to Sara, it was more of an off-handed comment while they were sitting in their car at the DFO carpark. Little did Sara know that he was a tad more serious, having the ring in the backseat.
Sara sees Max as her best friend for life, which is just perfect for the two of them, because they really are meant for each other. She truly believes that she has found her soul mate. And when she thinks of him, she remembers all the amazing times that they've already had together, and plenty of 30 Seconds to Mars songs.
Max cannot get enough of Sara's beautiful smile. It is the one thing that draws him to her every day and the one thing he can't wait to wake up to. He has taken Sara all over the world, and remembers best their trip to Edinburgh. That said, he says that every day they have together is a gift and every day he spends with Sara is his favourite day.
On their wedding day, Sara and her girls had a ball getting ready in Barton, drinking champagne and always laughing. Max was mucking around at home, but still turned up super early to put down reserved signs! Their beautiful puppy, Pretzel, raced their rings down the aisle for them, and they were accompanied by a bagpiper for both Sara's entrance and their exit. These little touches made their ceremony truly special.
Once the rings and vows were said, we headed down to Lennox Gardens by the lake to take photos in and around the cherry blossoms that had just come into bloom. We then met up with the bridal party on the Federal Golf Course, riding golf buggy's to get ourselves across the course and to take photos in the fleeting hours of light. Then it was party time, where everyone relaxed and had a ball.
All throughout their day, they had smiles simply because that's how much fun they were having. Both Sara & Max hold a special place in our hearts and we are so thrilled to be able to share these images from their amazing wedding day.
