Being together has been so perfectly amazing that it just made sense that they'd finally tie the knot. From little love notes passed underneath the toilet door, to fried haloumi cheese instead of chocolate on Valentine's Day, to their trip to Tilba Tilba, both Teagan and Alex have had too many good times to name them all. They are so similar in nature that Alex's friends honestly see Teagan as "Alex in a woman's body", which Alex agrees with. On the other hand, Teagan sees Alex as a loveable fool with a funny face.

Even though they are described as very similar people, they each describe their love quite differently: Teagan knew she was in love the moment they got back together; for Alex, it was more of an insidious feeling that crept up on him over time, and before he knew it he was in love.

The proposal was by a beautiful lighthouse on July 13, 2016. Due to timing errors, it wasn't exactly as Alex had planned, as they couldn't get to the specific lighthouse he had chosen, but they agreed that it didn't need to be perfect. They celebrated in style anyway at an amazing restaurant.

Their wedding day was not without little hiccups like not having brought belts for the boys, which could have been a little interesting, but turned out just fine, with a beautiful ceremony amongst their family and friends in the gardens of the Tuggeranong Homestead. They couldn't have asked for anything better; you can barely tell it was cold by the smiles on their faces!
